Day 4 – February 3

Day 4 – February 3: Today we slept in again – I made Kiefer eggs this morning.  We don’t have any non stick pans or high smoke point oils so it’s been very difficult to make eggs.  Nearly impossible.  But it was done.  We walked over to the welcome center but it was closed.  So we then walked over to the hotel (opposite ends of the grounds – 1.25 km!)  We visited the sales center briefly and then had lunch at the restaurant on the beach.  It was absolutely stunning.  Right on the beach overlooking the ocean.  The beach has been red flagged every day we have been here because of the high winds.  It feels like we are in Kansas and Dorthy is about to fly by at any minute.  After lunch we went over to the sales center and Hector showed us a three bedroom unit on the ground floor right in front of the pool.  Also with slightly blocked views of the beach.  It was nice – but small and surrounded by large buildings.  On a busy day, this pool would be hopping and not very quiet.  Not the vibe Paul and I are going for.  Our townhouse is really nice, right on the pool, a max of 8 houses surrounding us so even on the busiest of days the pool wouldn’t be ‘busy’.  No view of the beach but that’s okay.  This location is also VERY far from everything.  Maybe in the future if the place gets more built up but that may take 10-20 years to happen so you gotta buy for now.  We are talking to a realtor and he has arranged a night (for FREE) at the Hilton where they have units for sale as well.  I’m not sure what the perfect arrangement for us is, but I know we will know it when we see it.

We then came home and had a nap!  How decadent!  Then made a late dinner and watched some shows with Kiefer and went to bed!
